Edge Walk is an outdoor, hands-free experience around the tower, so confirm the participation rules before choosing a session. The stated age range is 12 to 65 years and the weight range is 30 to 120 kg. Participants under 18 need a parent to provide consent in person. These limits apply to the activity, not simply to entering the Sky Views Observatory, so companions who do not meet them may still need a different plan.
The experience lasts about 90 minutes. Build that full duration into your day, along with time to reach Tower 1, check in and receive instructions. Outdoor operations can be affected by conditions, so a tightly timed connection immediately afterwards is best avoided. Check current availability and requirements with the venue before travelling.
Prepare for the Outdoor Experience
Wear modest, secure clothing suitable for being outdoors and attached to a safety harness. Avoid loose garments, scarves or accessories that could get in the way, and choose closed, secure footwear rather than flip-flops. Follow the team’s directions during fitting and throughout the walk; the safety briefing is part of preparing for the activity, not something to rush through.
The Edge Walk entrance is at Address Sky View, Tower 1. You can enter at Level 0 or reach the building through the Level 1 Dubai Mall Metro link. Arrive with enough time to locate the correct entrance and complete check-in.
