Sky Views Observatory

Experience Downtown Dubai from above. Features panoramic views and the famous Glass Slide.

Getting There

Located at Address Sky View, Tower 1. Enter from Level 0 near the Tower 1 residences, or use the Level 1 connection through the Dubai Mall Metro link. The nearest transport is the Red Line (Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station).

Dress Code

For the Glass Slide, wear modest, comfortable clothing and secure footwear. Loose dresses, skirts, high heels, flip-flops and other loose footwear are not permitted for that activity.

Practical Information

  • Large bags and strollers must be stored at the entrance.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed upstairs.
  • The operator estimates around 35 minutes to enjoy the Observatory and around 90 minutes for the complete Edge Walk experience. These are estimates, not guaranteed queue times or a limit on your Observatory stay. Allow time for check-in, photography and activity queues; do not interpret the full Edge Walk session as 90 minutes continuously on the ledge.
  • The official FAQ recommends arriving 30 minutes before your booked visit. Allow additional travel time to find the attraction entrance; early arrival does not mean your session starts early.
  • The operator's FAQ currently lists Observatory admission from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM and Edge Walk from 10:30 AM–7:00 PM. Last admission may be earlier than closing. Confirm the schedule and your activity's time slot for the date you book.
  • Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian, according to the official FAQ. Admission as a child does not automatically qualify someone for the Glass Slide or Edge Walk. Check each child's height, weight, the activity's rules and any in-person consent requirement before choosing a package.
  • The operator says the Observatory supports wheelchair users and visitors with disabilities. That does not establish eligibility for the Glass Slide or Edge Walk, which have separate participation rules. Confirm the step-free arrival route and any assistance with the venue before booking an activity.

Sky Views Edge Walk

A full-circle hands-free walk on the outside ledge of the tower for thrill-seekers.

Getting There

Shares the same entrance and transport connections as the Sky Views Observatory. Head to Address Sky View, Tower 1.

Dress Code

Wear modest, comfortable clothing and secure footwear. Avoid loose dresses, skirts, flip-flops, other loose footwear and long loose scarves.

Practical Information

  • The operator estimates around 35 minutes to enjoy the Observatory and around 90 minutes for the complete Edge Walk experience. These are estimates, not guaranteed queue times or a limit on your Observatory stay. Allow time for check-in, photography and activity queues; do not interpret the full Edge Walk session as 90 minutes continuously on the ledge.
  • The dedicated Edge Walk page lists ages 12–65, weight 30–120 kg and height 130–200 cm, with in-person parental consent for participants under 18. The general FAQ gives a different minimum height of 120 cm. Use the activity-specific page when planning and confirm eligibility directly with the venue before paying.
  • The official FAQ recommends arriving 30 minutes before your booked visit. Allow additional travel time to find the attraction entrance; early arrival does not mean your session starts early.
  • Weather conditions may affect outdoor operations.
