Is the Sky Views Glass Slide scary?
The transparent slide links levels 53 and 52 on the outside of Address Sky View. Seeing the city through the glass can feel intense even though the ride itself is short. How frightening it feels depends on your comfort with heights and transparent surfaces; no guide can guarantee you will enjoy it.

Can you visit Sky Views without using the slide?
You can plan a visit around the Observatory's views and glass-floor setting rather than making the ride your priority. A ride listed in a package is an inclusion, not a reason to feel pressured to participate. Ask staff if you are unsure and follow their assessment and instructions.
The Glass Slide, glass-floor walk and Edge Walk are different experiences. Edge Walk is a separately booked, harnessed outdoor activity, not a longer version of the slide. The Observatory's glass floor is 46 metres long; that is not the length of the slide.
What are the slide's participation and clothing rules?
The operator's Observatory page lists Glass Slide limits of 120–200 cm in height and 30–150 kg in weight. Its general FAQ groups the slide with Edge Walk and gives different age and weight limits. Confirm slide-specific eligibility with the venue before booking, especially for children or anyone near a limit.
Wear modest, comfortable clothing and follow the operator's slide-specific footwear instructions. Do not wear loose dresses, skirts, high heels or loose footwear. Use the provided sliding mat and follow staff directions about positioning and personal belongings. Ask the venue about suitability if you have a health concern.
Which ticket includes a Glass Slide ride?
The operator's advertised general-admission package includes one ride, but reseller products and combos can differ. The listed Glass Slide & Gold Package includes one ride and one Gold Collection Menu choice; the listed Burj Khalifa combo does not promise a slide ride.
Check the inclusion, eligibility and booking terms before paying. Do not assume a second ride or a photo package is included, and do not rely on a guaranteed queue time when planning your next attraction.
